NPiS "Older Persons Wellbeing Day"

Date & Time: Thursday 7th May, 1-4pm

Venue: Vogeltown Bowling Club, Norman St, New Plymouth

New Plymouth injury Safe Trust are pleased to be hosting an Older Persons Wellbeing Day that will provide information and advice on falls prevention and keeping well in older age. The event is free and will include activities such as bowling, croquet, Tai Chi and keep fit to music. A number of local health providers will be on hand to provide information about health and wellbeing.

NPiS & Taranaki Construction Safety Focus Group presents the "HSE Centre Apprentice Team Safety Challenge"

Date & Time: Wednesday 13th May, 9am - 2pm

Venue: Taranaki HSE Centre, Constance St, New Plymouth

The HSE Centre Apprentice Team Safety Challenge will provide an opportunity for trades apprentices to show off their safety knowledge as they participate in a number of practical safety challenges including hazard identification, working at heights, putting out fires and giving first aid to our "falls victim". Its free to enter and a number of prizes are up for grabs on the day.
