Falls Prevention Strategy - local awards ceremony for those working in falls prevention across Taranaki - 21st November 2008
An informal awards presentation for those involved in the development of the Taranaki Falls Prevention Strategy and other partners who deliver local falls prevention services will be held on Friday 21st November in the Physiotherapy meeting room, Level 2, Taranaki base hospital. Copies of the NZ Safety Award received at this year's NZ Safety Awards will be presented to key partners and a celebratory morning tea will be provided. A short Falls Strategy meeting will be held from 11am - 12noon to update partners on progress in this area.

SCFNZ/ALAC Regional Alcohol Seminar, New Plymouth, 2009 (date to be confirmed)
SCFNZ and ALAC will be hosting a regional seminar on the topic of alcohol early 2009. The date is yet to be confirmed so watch this space. Alcohol cuts across all injury issues so we hope to attract a wide audience for this seminar.
